Postcrossing.com

A year ago, I joined Postcrossing.com as I blogged about in an earlier post. It inspired my postcard collection, which at my last count recently was over 600 postcards from 62 countries! Admittedly, most of the postcards in my collection are from private swaps or gifts from friends but nevertheless, I like the "surprise" element of using Postcrossing, although it would have been nice to receive more postcards from other "rare" countries.

These are the countries I received postcards from in the last year

I received a total of 61 postcards from 18 different countries with the most being received from USA (18) and Finland (7).

These are the countries I sent postcards to in the last year

I sent a total of 61 postcards to 17 different countries with the most being sent to Finland (13) and USA (11).


The good news is that I had only 2 expired cards in the last year: TT-523 to USA and TT-662 to Brazil.

Trinidad and Tobago is currently ranked 84th (by postcards sent) and I am ranked as 5th among local users, for both most postcards sent and longest distance sent from Trinidad and Tobago.
