Since I was a teenager, I had a deep fascination with Japan, its people and culture. Maybe it's from all those NHK documentaries that they used to show on local television but I always hoped to one day, get the chance to visit there. The devastating earthquakes and tsunami this year that they suffered really broke my heart.
