Local FDC and Stamps

Philately is not a hobby that I have much interest in (that is, to invest money in) although I usually keep used foreign stamps that I get on envelopes in a scrap book because I find most of them beautiful and they do give you an additional insight into a country.

Recently, since I've been networking to find others who would like to swap/trade with me so that I can add postcards from their countries to my collection, I stumbled across some people who do collect First Day Covers (FDC) and Stamps and were willing to send me postcards in exchange for them.

So, out to the Post Office I went to discover a whole new world of items that I can barter with and of course, whenever I purchase new items to send to people, I will post the pictures here.

This stamp booklets consists of 10 x TT$1.00 stamps of a coastal theme.

This is the "Carnival is we ting" FDC issued in 2011.
