Carnival Puppies

Well, I think Brownie (that's what we call the neighbor's dog) has decided to adopt us as her new family. She visits everyday, usually around meal time when she knows we will be feeding our own dogs and whenever she wants a safe place to have her puppies, she comes by us. Usually, she has them somewhere in the back yard in the garden. Once we notice that she has lost her pregnant weight (within mere hours of delivering), she allows us to pick up the newborns and move them to an empty room under our house, out of the harm from other animals and the weather. This is the second time, we've done this routine with her so obviously she trusts us with them. On Carnival Tuesday, she had 7 puppies (4 males and 3 females), more than she has ever had in one litter. They are quite a handful for her. Since her owners don't seem to care about her, I may have no choice but to take it upon myself to have her spayed. Having to find homes for her pups twice a year is not an easy task at all!
