New Year 2010

Some people ring in the new year in church or at a party. Others think the best place to spend it is at home with loved ones. And that's exactly where I was on the stroke of midnight that heralded the start of another decade.

These are some shots of the fireworks that I saw from the limited vantage point of my house.

As the old year ended and the new one began, an unexpected feeling of peace came upon me. I knew at that moment that this is going to be a great year for me. All the bad luck and awful experiences are behind me. I knew that this is a year for me to make drastic changes to achieve happiness.

Did I make any resolutions?...no point really. I resolve to do things as the need arises. I don't wait for a new year to do it!
