My one-true-love-at-first-sight

I started a new job about six weeks and part-time classes on Saturdays, so I have not had much free time to go anywhere or do anything of interest to blog about.

However, August is a significant month for me…I’ll be 29 in less than 3 weeks; there's the 4th anniversary of my grandmother’s passing (the one constant person in my life since birth) four days after my birthday, and a week after that, the welcoming of my little “one-true-love-at-first-sight” who helped me cope with the loss.

For those of you who used to follow my old blog, you would know who I’m talking about…

My darling little Panda, a 2-week old abandoned kitten that I saved and brought home. She’ll be 4 years now and unfortunately I spent 20 months away from her while I was in the UK. Since my return I’ve been working hard to regain her affection (after all, she’s an adult now, doesn’t really need me much except to feed her and change her litter box!)

These are pictures of her at 1 month:

These are pictures of her I took recently:

She's appears to be so fearless...climbs to the very top of the house and scales back down with no problems, but if a truck passes with loud music, she scurries under the bed!

  1. Well.. adult cats are always kindda independent. So it's no wonder that she does not need you much.
